The Republic of Honduras in Central America, is tucked between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. However three-fourths of the landmass in the country is mountainous. The capital city is Tegucigalpa. Climate is generally hot and humid with average annual temperatures between 66-73 degrees Fahrenheit. Honduras is considered a developing country and the majority of the population work and live under very difficult conditions. Important to the country’s economy is the exportation of crops, including coffee beans, tobacco and sugarcane as well as corn and beef. A trip to Honduras will surely leave you feeling like you’ve met some of the hardest working people on our planet.
What To Pack
